PassiveLogic Secures $15 Million Investment from NVIDIA – TechBuzz News

PassiveLogic (Salt Lake City), the first autonomous build platform, raises a $15 million venture round led by Nventures, NVIDIA’s venture arm. This investment follows the company’s $34 million Series B round. PassiveLogic has now raised over $80 million.

“PassiveLogic’s vision is to revolutionize the real estate industry through autonomous operations at the edge,” said Mohamed “Sid” Siddeek, leader of NVIDIA’s NVentures team. “You have a world-class team with deep industry and technical expertise that is preparing to bring a highly differentiated solution to market with its first customers.”

As previously covered by TechBuzz, PassiveLogic designs and manufactures an autonomous AI platform built for controlling buildings, industrial and IoT systems. Their solutions integrate climate control, lighting, access, surveillance, security, sensors and more through a unified interface. The software enables architects, engineers, contractors and building owners to easily automate systems while bringing buildings up to date to meet operational requirements and environmental, social and governance (ESG) goals of facility owners.

PassiveLogic uses an innovative technology stack based on Quantum’s digital twin standard that enables untrained users to quickly build neural networks. Another asset in PassiveLogic’s technology stack, The Hive is an edge-based autonomy engine built on Quantum’s digital twin standard that acts as the brain for buildings, bringing together sensors, IoT, and other controllable devices.
