Morgan Lewis Promotes Large Cohort To Partnership

Morgan, Lewis & Bockius promoted 47 of its attorneys to its partnership in its 2022 promotion round, up seven from the previous year.

Effective October 1, the promotions include 14 offices, with the US dominating the field with 43 attorneys, 12 of whom are based in Philadelphia, nine in Washington, DC, six in New York and five in Boston. Other cities with new partners include San Francisco, Seattle, Silicon Valley, Miami, Century City, Chicago and Orange County.

Three lawyers were promoted in London – an increase on the two promotions in London 2021.

In 2021, after a few years of change, the firm welcomed 40 lawyers into its partnership between 2018 (30 promotions) and 2020 (29).

The company also did a promotion in Dubai. Next year the law firm will celebrate its 10th anniversary in Dubai opened its gates.

In a statement, Morgan Lewis chairman said, “Your expertise and experience reflects the diverse strength and depth of our company’s resources around the world and in key industries.”
