Kim Kardashian’s Sultry, Curve-Hugging Balenciaga x Adidas Get-Up
In the SKIMS mogul’s post, she is seen sitting on a chair, posing to show a side profile of her body and holding her phone with a black case covering her face. Kardashian wore her long, wavy blonde locks down and parted in the middle for the snap, and was seen hanging out in the walk-in closet.
For his description, the style icon who really needs no introduction kept his message to his fans simple, writing, “hey.” While garnering millions of likes in the process, Kardashian’s photo also inspired many comments about approval and others condemning her for wearing items from a label that is now facing backlash for its latest ad.
“Awesome figure,” wrote one fan while another shared his thoughts with a series of heart-searing emojis. Kardashian has been a brand ambassador and outspoken fan of Balenciaga for years now, and her ex, West (who is now legally known as Ye) collaborated with the label for the popular Yeezy Gap line earlier this year. The fashion powerhouse (along with Adidas) cut all ties with Ye after his antisemitic comments and controversial statements.
Balenciaga Revealed For New Ad
In the comments section of Kardashian’s post, many fans asked the mother of four to “call Balenciaga” or “stop wearing” clothes from her after a new ad campaign that didn’t sit well with many.
Balenciaga has since apologized for a controversial holiday ad campaign that depicted children holding teddy bears and handbags featuring talismanic accessories, including belts, cuffs and fishnets. This then led thousands of TikTok, Twitter and Instagram users to use the new hashtag – #cancelBalenciaga this week.
Demna Gvasalia, the Georgian fashion designer and creative director of Balenciaga, released a statement via Instagram on the matter, writing, “We apologize for any offense that the Holiday campaign may have caused.” He continued, “Our plush bear bags should not have been shown with children in this campaign. We immediately removed the campaign from all platforms.
