Metro-North Railroad is helping fans relive Aaron Judge’s historic season September 22-25 when one of the oldest rivalries in the sport returns to Yankee Stadium. The railroad is expanding service to ensure fans can cheer for the Bronx Bombers when they watch the show at 7:15 p.m. Thursday, 7:05 p.m. Friday, 1:05 p.m. Saturday, and 1:05 p.m. Sunday match the Boston Red Sox at 7:08 p.m

The Hudson, Harlem, and New Haven lines will have additional trains for fan delivery, and scheduled Hudson Line trains will have additional stops at the Yankees-E 153rd St.

Metro North

Metro-North already operates Trains to The Game at Yankee Stadium on the Hudson, Harlem and New Haven Lines for every home game, and is adding service on the New Haven Line to handle the larger crowds required for the Red Sox’s four games -Series expected on Thursday -Sunday 22-25 September. All Yankee Clipper trains, specials, connecting trains, ticket information and fares are displayed on the MTA TrainTime app and website at

On the New Haven Line, Metro-North is adding an additional Yankee Clipper train direct home on Thursday and Friday nights after the game, in addition to the regular Yankee Clipper direct trains to the stadium and frequent connecting trains via the Harlem/125th St station on Thursday and Friday nights New Haven Line, and on Saturday and Sunday we’re adding an additional Yankee Clipper train direct to and from the games. Overall, Metro-North will operate two Yankee Clipper trains direct from New Haven and one Yankee Clipper train direct from Stamford to the game Saturday and Sunday en route to the game, and four Yankee Clipper trains direct home after the game, with three to New Haven and a commuter direct to Stamford.

On the Hudson Line, Metro-North will operate its regular Yankee Clipper Express and commuter trains from Poughkeepsie and Croton-Harmon to Yankee Stadium and returning home after the game; Additionally, several Hudson Line express and local trains will make additional stops at the Yankees/E 153rd St station for fans.

On the Harlem Line, Metro-North will operate its regular Yankee Clipper train directly between Harlem Line stations and the Yankees/E 153rd St station returning home after the game, and there are frequent trains calling at the Harlem/ 125th St Station connects to the Hudson Line and commuter trains for the short trip to and from the stadium.

Additional shuttle trains also operate between Grand Central Terminal, the Harlem/125th St station and the Yankees/E 153rd St station, where Yankee Stadium is directly across from the park.

Fans can also bring the MTA to the game with convenient service on subways, buses, and paratransit.

New York subway

For this weekend’s series, customers can take the D or 4 train to the 161 St-Yankee Stadium station.

The 161 St-Yankee Stadium subway station, with service on the B, D, and F lines, is located directly in front of the stadium on the corner of 161st Street and River Avenue. Local D trains and 4 trains stop at 161 St-Yankee Stadium at all times. B trains only stop at 161 St-Yankee Stadium during rush hour.


New York buses

The Bx6, Bx6 SBS, Bx13 stop directly in front of the stadium at E. 161st Street and River Avenue. In addition, the Bx1 and Bx2 both stop at E. 161st Street and the Grand Concourse, a three-block walk from the stadium.

Customers can use the real-time ridership tracking feature in the MYmta app before boarding.
