B*Witched have reunited to join Blue on tour

B*Witched have announced that they will be joining Blue on their Heart And Soul tour this December – tickets are available here.

The ’90s Irish pop group – comprised of Edele and Keavy Lynch, Lindsay Armaou and Sinead O’Carroll – will join the newly reunited boy band to support their eponymous comeback album.

The 12 date nationwide run (which also celebrates Blue’s 20th anniversary) begins on Sunday 4 December at the Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff. From there, Blue with B*Witched will travel to Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Liverpool, Brighton, London, Bournemouth, Nottingham, Aberdeen and Glasgow before concluding in Newcastle at the Utilita Arena on Tuesday 20th.

B*Witched – best known for their 1998 single ‘C’est La Vie’ – said in a statement: “We are delighted to announce that we will be joining Blue on their ‘Heart And Soul’ arena tour in December 2022.

“We’ve wanted to tour together for a while, having given each other the nickname Bluwitched a few years ago, and are thrilled that it’s finally happening.”

The girl group also hinted at new music, adding, “We’ll obviously be bringing our hits, but we’ve got a new single and expect some surprises from us too!”

Speaking of the tour, One Love artist Blue said: “We are so excited to be collaborating with the girls from B*Witched on our UK tour. We had a lot of fun touring Australia and New Zealand with the girls a few years ago and are looking forward to the second round!”

Both groups toured with Five, 911, Atomic Kitten, Honeyz and Liberty X for The Big Reunion in 2013.

Blues’ Heart And Soul – their first album in seven years – is due out on October 28 after being pushed back from September 9. It will be the ’90s boy band’s sixth studio album, following 2015’s ‘Colours’.

In April 2015, after poor sales of “Colours”, Blue was dropped just one album into a two-album deal by their record label Sony.
