Burlington Sets Oakdale Mall Closing Date, Vestal Opening Date

After nearly two decades, the retailer once known as the Burlington Coat Factory is leaving Oakdale Mall in Johnson City.

The store, now simply called “Burlington,” has been a permanent fixture at the mall since it opened in August 2003. It occupies space that was used for a department store in Bradlees. The store downsized a few years ago.

Burlington later moved to a smaller location at Oakdale Mall. This store is scheduled to close on October 9, although it could close earlier if most of the stock items have been sold.
